Perspective Pictures are looking for a Video Editor Intern to work in partnership with the post-production department.

 

Our mission is simple, create the absolute best, most effective, video content for brands to post to the internet. We’re looking for another driven, entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, leader to join that mission!

 

THE PERSON:

A creative mind with a desire to learn how to make digital content.

Has an interest in filmmaking and storytelling, and a hunger to create some cool sh*t.

Has the ability to manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.

Flexibility and high ability to work well under pressure.

Some knowledge of video editing, graphics, colour grading, and a desire to expand upon this knowledge.

Demonstrable video editing ability with a portfolio.

Experience and knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Creative mind and storytelling skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Liaising and working closely with various team members.

Routine briefings with the team to communicate new projects and developments.

Actively hitting key learning objectives and enhancing your own abilities.

Perspective Pictures are looking for a Junior Video Editor to work in partnership with the post-production department and senior leadership team (Heads of Department).

THE PERSON:

Solid understanding of digital content creation.

Has an interest in filmmaking and storytelling, and a hunger to create some cool sh*t.

Has the ability to manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.

Good experience of quality control and an eye for detail when approving final uploads.

Flexibility and high ability to work well under pressure in liaison with external clients to build and maintain client relationships.

Knowledge of video editing, colour grading, rough cuts, and sound design if/when required.

Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.

Experience and knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Creative mind and storytelling skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Liaising and working closely with various internal agency departments and external agencies or clients.

Attending client meetings & edit sessions, when necessary.

Routine briefings with the team to communicate new projects and developments.

Perspective Pictures is looking for a new intern (paid) to work 50/50 between our production & post production houses.

The role will be evenly and equally split between heading out on set to film various shoots, as well as editing a deep selection of projects, and will be a great opportunity to learn about professional editing and videography, working with clients including RedBull, Deliveroo, and Rolls Royce. 

The Person: 

Passionate for creating films throughout every aspect of the timeline.

Wide set of abilities and talents that could be useful in any scenario.

A strong understanding of the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro & After Effects especially).

Able to manage an ever shifting schedule on short notice.

Knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve is a bonus.

Previous experience as either a freelancer or as part of a production house, and able to show work in both shooting and editing aspects.

A full UK Drivers license is preferred but not required.

Main Responsibilities:

An Ability to delegate work between teammates when necessary. 

Attend shoots and perform a variety of duties while on set.

Create edits to a high and consistent standard.

Make sure every edit is exported to the highest of standards and within the correct timeframes.

Make cool shit.

Salary: Minimum Wage

Perspective Pictures is looking for a new full-time filmmaker to join our dynamic production team. Working on large and small productions, with clients including RedBull, Deliveroo, and Rolls Royce

The role will be mainly camera operating and cinematography based, while also editing in our office during days with no shoots. 

The Person: 

A creative mind that finds something fresh in ANY environment.

Confident & proficient in handling a vast variety of film equipment from all departments. 

Experience with the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro Primarily, After Effects knowledge also a bonus).

A deep wealth of camera usage, from any and all manufacturers (previous use of any RED camera from the DSMC – DSMC2 range is a bonus).

Happy and comfortable with travel (domestically and internationally).

Previous experience on set, as either a freelancer or part of another production house.

A full UK Drivers license is preferred but not required.

Have a good understanding of the ins and outs of every large social media platform. 

Main Responsibilities: 

Working collaboratively with the various departments at Perspective.

Travelling to a vast array of weird and wonderful locations.

Shooting all content as required to a high and consistent standard.

Handling, managing and maintaining any equipment, both in house and rented.

Working and interacting directly with clients and talent to achieve everyone’s goals.

Handling data correctly, and making sure it’s backed-up, archived & distributed to the correct locations.

Keeping an eye on the ever adapting landscape in the world of film.

Make cool shit.

Salary: £22,000
