Full Time Role – 3 Month Contract

You’ll become a member and crucial part of our creative team, the role is perfect for a junior looking at specialising in sound with a key focus on on-location recording. As part of the internship, the succesful candidate will also be given the opportunity to learn and get hands on with all aspects of sound, both working on pre and post-production.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Being able to work and adapt to different briefs, and help achieve the goals of the client
  • Working efficiently on-location and taking responsibility for the quality of recording
  • Creating advanced, impressive and enjoyable video content that is enhanced with audio treatment and effects.
  • Keeping an eye on the ever adapting future of video, broadcast platforms, equipment and tools with specific reference to sound.

THE PERSON:

  • Strong communication skills
  • An understanding of audio equipment, cameras and film sets.
  • Good knowledge of Protools or any other DAW
  • A willingness to travel (both domestically and internationally)
  • Ability to work and adapt around tight deadlines
  • Strong awareness of social media, youth culture, and emerging platforms

LOCATION:

Working from our London based office at 1 Purley Place, N1 1QA.

Perspective Pictures are looking for a Senior Editor to work in partnership with the rest of the senior leadership team (Heads of Department).

Our mission is simple, create the absolute best, most effective, video content for brands to post to the internet. We’re looking for another driven, entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, leader to join that mission!

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the post-production team, responsible for delivering high-quality content.

Not only will you have experience with management, but you will be able to deliver consistently under tight and occasionally fast turnaround deadlines.

THE PERSON:

Experienced in overseeing a team of editors. A solid understanding of digital content creation.

Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing schedules and meeting tight deadlines.

Has an interest in filmmaking and storytelling, and a hunger to create some cool sh*t.

Has the ability to manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.

Extensive experience and knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Good experience of quality control and an eye for detail when approving final uploads.

Flexibility and high ability to work well under pressure in liaison with external clients to build and maintain client relationships.

In-depth knowledge of video editing, colour grading, rough cuts and sound design to advise the team if/when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Lead and oversee day-day management of and operations of the post-production team.

Liaising and working closely with various internal agency departments and external agencies or clients.

Management of the editing team.

Attending client meetings when necessary.

Quality control and management of leading the post team in meeting tight and fast turnaround deadlines.

Routine briefings with the team to communicate new projects and developments.
