🥋 The Brief
Warrior Academy is a global martial arts organisation dedicated to empowering young people through discipline, confidence, and community.They approached us to create a series of cinematic brand films that would capture the excitement, energy, and values behind their teaching – and show parents and kids what makes Warrior Academy more than just a martial arts school.
🎬 Pre-Production
The creative was developed by our London team, with production handled by our Dubai office, bringing global collaboration to life.
📋 Developed two hero concepts:
1️⃣ A high-energy brand film capturing the Academy’s mission and culture
2️⃣ A one-take cinematic tour of their Dubai facility, filled with surprise action moments
🎥 Storyboarded scenes that balanced authenticity, adrenaline, and emotion
💡 Planned multi-location logistics including indoor studios, desert dunes, and waterfronts
👊 Incorporated the founder as on-screen talent, showcasing him as both teacher and martial artist
Our goal was to make something inspiring and cinematic while keeping production light and flexible.
🔥 The Shoot
Filmed over two days with a small three-person crew, the production covered multiple locations across Dubai – from training halls to the open desert.
🎬 Day One: Captured the main brand film, including:
– Training sequences with over 25 children learning martial arts
– Interviews and scenes with instructors and families
– Founder-led sequences filmed across stunning Dubai backdrops
🐪 Included cinematic scenes of the founder on a camel in the desert and flying above the water on a jet-powered hoverboard – a visual metaphor for freedom and strength
🎬 Day Two: Focused on the one-take tour, blending martial arts choreography with seamless camera movement
🥋 The founder moved through the Academy while unexpectedly entering fight sequences with his instructors – an inventive twist that brought life and energy to what could have been a corporate walkthrough

📸 Handheld and Insta360 techniques for dynamic, immersive shots
🚁 Drone and timelapse footage to elevate production value
🎬 Practical lighting and minimal gear for agility across quick location changes
The result was a cinematic campaign that felt fast, raw, and authentic – mirroring the energy of martial arts itself.
