✈️ The Brief

Hollo were running a major promotional campaign, offering a AED 500,000 cash giveaway to one lucky mortgage customer. In a crowded and highly competitive market, they needed a concept that would immediately cut through and communicate the scale of the offer in a way that felt impossible to ignore.

The brief called for something bold, unexpected, and highly attention-grabbing, designed specifically for social platforms where first impressions matter.

💡 The Idea

Building on strong initial references from the client, we developed a narrative-driven concept centred around a staged internal conflict. The film opens like a candid, behind-the-scenes moment, with a presenter insisting on giving the money away, while the company’s finance director argues that the offer is too extreme.

What starts as a seemingly informal argument quickly escalates into a fast-paced, physical, and comedic chase through multiple locations, from backstage areas and kitchens to the car park.

The contrast between the “accidental” feel and the escalating production creates a slapstick, high-energy piece that mirrors the outrageousness of the giveaway itself.

🎥 Production

The entire production was completed in a single day with a crew of approximately 15, supported by around 20 extras and two principal actors.

The shoot required careful choreography, precise blocking, and the use of breakable props to sell the chaos while keeping everything controlled and safe. The scale and pace of the production were key to amplifying the humour and reinforcing the message that this was no ordinary promotion.

🖥️ The Edit

Post-production was turned around in just three days to align with the wider campaign launch. Working closely with the client’s team, we refined timing, pacing, and messaging through rapid feedback cycles to ensure the final cut landed with maximum impact.

The film was delivered ready for immediate deployment across social and online channels as the campaign’s lead creative asset.
