Red Bull challenged us to capture an epic head-to-head:F1 Driver vs. World’s Fastest Rally Car. How close can an F1 driver get to a pro rally driver’s time in just 8 laps?
The setting? The legendary Goodwood Rally Stage.The catch?
We had just 4 hours to film with Formula One driver Liam Lawson.
🎬 Pre-Production
To make every minute count, we prepped hard.Our team arrived the day before to:
🎥 Rig both cars with multiple cameras and GoPros
🚁 Set up FPV drone flight paths
🎤 Coordinate coverage for the presenter Matt Jones
📋 Align with Goodwood, the F1 management team, the TV coverage team, Ford, the safety supervisor, Red Bull Motorsports, and the rally crew
Every shot, every camera position, every move was planned down to the second.
