🎮 The Brief
The client approached us to create a new education-led video series designed to help gamers understand how to set themselves up for streaming using their platform as an alternative to Twitch.
The aim was to create clear, engaging content that would live natively on the platform as well as on the client’s website, guiding users through best practices for streaming setup, workflows, and platform features in a way that felt familiar to the gaming community.
💡 Creative Development
We began by developing a creative approach that felt authentic to gamers. Rather than producing generic tutorial videos, we wanted the series to feel like it lived inside a real gaming environment.
To achieve this, we brought in a set designer to transform part of our studio into a fully realised gamer-style room. This allowed the content to feel immersive and credible, while giving us full control over lighting, sound, and camera movement across the seven episodes.
Once the creative direction was signed off, we cast two actors who could confidently present technical information in an engaging, approachable way.
🎬 Production
Filming took place over three days in our studio with a crew of seven. The bespoke gamer set allowed us to move efficiently between episodes, capturing a consistent visual language across the series while tailoring each episode to a specific learning objective.
We set up a split-screen video village so the client could monitor all camera feeds and screen captures simultaneously, allowing for fast feedback and confident sign-off during production.
🎞️ Post-Production
Post-production was a significant part of this project. Over a two-month period, the episodes were edited to include a heavy layer of screen recordings, motion graphics, and UI-driven visuals to clearly demonstrate how the platform works in real-world streaming scenarios.
Each episode was output in multiple languages, ensuring the content could be accessed by an international user base. The graphics and screen content were carefully timed and designed to support the spoken explanations without overwhelming the viewer.
⚡ The Result
The final outcome was a polished, platform-native education series that clearly explains how gamers can get started with streaming and make the most of the client’s tools.
By combining a custom-built set, clear on-screen demonstrations, and a structured educational approach, the series provided long-term value for the platform and its users, while reinforcing the brand as a credible alternative within the streaming ecosystem.
