🏍️ The Brief

Red Bull Motorsports approached us with an early idea for a mystery racing format called Guess the Pro. We took the concept and re-engineered it through a modern YouTube lens – making it faster, punchier, and built for retention.

The idea: eight rookies and one MotoGP pro, all wearing identical leathers and helmets.The presenters had one mission – work out who the real pro is.

🎬 Pre-Production

Filming took place at a racetrack just outside Barcelona. The production was complex, with multiple moving parts and a need for tight coordination between our UK team, local Spanish crew, and the Red Bull motorsport staff.

🎥 Liaised with mechanics and track officials to manage movement and safety
🤝 Maintained secrecy between presenters and riders during breaks to protect the twist
🎯 Combined live theatre, game-show structure, and racing intensity to elevate the concept

🔥 The Shoot

One day of heat, horsepower, and hidden identities. Presenters Zac Alsop, Jeremiah from Big Time, and Christian Daniel led the game, eliminating riders round by round through questions, challenges, and races.

🚁 FPV drones and aerial cameras captured the speed and chaos
🎥 Mounted GoPros, DSLRs, and cinema rigs covered every reveal and reaction

Even under extreme heat, the cast and crew brought full energy – keeping the tension alive until the final unmasking.

📸 The Filmmaking

We used a hybrid approach to create something that felt both cinematic and unmistakably YouTube.

📷 Helmet and bike-mounted GoPros for POV energy
🎞️ Cinema cameras for interviews, slow motion, and storytelling
💡 Our creative and design team also produced the thumbnail photography and layout for Red Bull’s YouTube channel

The final cut blended authenticity, competition, and entertainment in true Red Bull style.
