✈️ The Brief

Yonder approached us to create a social-first video promoting Yonder Flights, a credit card perk that allows users to earn and redeem rewards on travel.

The goal was simple: clearly communicate the value of the Flights feature in a way that felt aspirational, modern, and native to paid social, while appealing to an audience that already understands tech, rewards, and travel. This was about showing how Yonder helps users get more from their everyday spending.

💡 Creative Development

The client came to us with an initial concept. Our role was to refine and elevate that idea into a tight, high-performing social ad.

We developed a full creative treatment, revised the script to sharpen the message for a 20-second runtime, and cast three pieces of talent who could bring clarity and relatability to the story. The aim was to keep the narrative straightforward, but visually elevated, so the ad would stand out in busy social feeds.

🎬 Production

The project was shot over one day in London, across two key locations.

We began filming in an industrial-style home in Hackney Wick, using the space to ground the story in a real-world, lifestyle setting. From there, we moved into a studio where we recreated a section of a plane fuselage.

Rather than having access to a real aircraft, we sourced and built a practical fuselage setup within the studio environment. This allowed us to create the illusion of flight while staying within a limited budget, without compromising on production value.

The film was shot on RED cinema cameras with a five-person crew. Our gaffer lit both locations, ensuring visual continuity between the lifestyle scenes and the studio-based aircraft setup.

🎞️ Post-Production

Post-production focused on pace, clarity, and polish. The final 20-second cut was designed to feel slick, premium, and instantly understandable, with a strong emphasis on communicating the Flights feature quickly and effectively.

⚡ The Result

The finished social ad performed strongly across paid placements. The Yonder team reported positive results, with the video successfully pulling new users into the app and helping drive awareness of the Flights feature.

A great example of how smart creative problem-solving and thoughtful execution can deliver high-end results on a controlled budget.
