🚵 The Brief

CMC wanted to continue bridging the gap between elite athletes and financial traders.

This time, we partnered with Red Bull Hardline, one of the most extreme downhill mountain biking events in the world.

The focus was on Jono Jones, with appearances from his brother and fellow rider, Matt Jones.

Our goal was to create a cinematic hero film and over 25 social-first assets linking high-stakes sport to high-stakes trading.

🎬 Pre-Production

We had five days to capture the story, the mindset, and the adrenaline.

Our approach was built around blending cinematic storytelling with on-the-ground social content.

📋 Planned daily coverage to align with the event’s safety requirements
🎥 Coordinated with Red Bull and Hardline officials to secure access and permissions
🤝 Worked closely with athletes and stakeholders to maintain authenticity and trust

Every angle was planned to show both the risk and precision behind elite performance.

🔥 The Shoot

Five days. One of the toughest courses in mountain biking.Our operators followed the riders through every drop, whip, and wall ride, often racing them down the mountain.

🎥 Captured action using GoPros, Insta360 cameras, drones, and open-shutter techniques
📱 Shot additional content on phones for authentic, social-first deliver
📸 Used Red cameras and DSLRs for the hero film, mixing high-end visuals with raw, in-the-moment footage

Balancing access, safety, and creativity was key, and the team delivered across every front.

🎞️ The Filmmaking

This project was all about immersion, bringing audiences into the athlete’s headspace.

We combined:

🚁 Drones for speed and scale
🔄 360 cameras for unique perspectives
📱 Mobile rigs for on-the-fly moments
🎞️ Cinema cameras for depth and storytelling

The result was a collection of content that felt both high-energy and deeply human.
