In this weeks ‘About Me’ series, we caught up with Jay Khatri. Jay is the Head of Operations at Perspective Pictures, which is a big job. We caught up with him to chat about how he got into the role, his favourite aspects, and of course, some quick fire questions.
Hey Jay! How did you get into the role here at Perspective Pictures?
After working with Rupert on personal passion projects, this led to a job opportunity several years later once Rupert had identified certain character attributes which would be well suited to Perspective Pictures and developing the business further.
What is your official job title?
I am the Head of Operations at Perspective Pictures.
What is your favourite thing about this role?
Variation is the biggest thing for me. It keeps me on my toes and means we are always getting to work on new and exciting content. The travel is also a great perk!
And how old are you?
I am 26 years old.
And what are your hobbies outside of work?
Photography is my favourite past time, as it means I can explore new places and find new and exciting perspectives. I also love food and have and a weird obsession with tropical fish…
Haha! And what is your favourite food?
So hard to pick one, but I love Italian.
And last, but not least, how do you drink your tea?
It has to be either classic builders tea for me or an Earl Grey.
